Ontario: reporting LTB orders for unpaid rent
Ontario landlords with a Landlord and Tenant Board order for unpaid rent can have eligible arrears submitted to Equifax and TransUnion Canada for $99 CAD.
Where the order comes from
In Ontario, most residential rent disputes are decided by the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB), part of Tribunals Ontario. A landlord typically applies for an order for unpaid rent, and the Board decides whether and how much rent is owed.
StrikeLM begins after that: it does not file LTB applications or represent you at a hearing.
Final orders only
The order should be final and confirm a specific amount of rent arrears. If a review or appeal is pending, wait until it is resolved before submitting.
If the tenant has former-tenant arrears handled in Small Claims Court instead, a final court judgment for unpaid rent may also qualify. The intake will check your document.
Reporting with StrikeLM
Upload your LTB order and proof that you are the landlord, pay $99 CAD, and eligible arrears are submitted to Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada within 24 hours.
