StrikeLM

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

What we collect

To process a submission, we collect the information you provide during intake: your contact details as the landlord, the tenant and rental property information needed for credit bureau reporting, and the documents you upload — your court order from a Canadian residential tenancy tribunal and a document proving your connection to the property.

How it's stored

Uploaded documents are stored encrypted in private cloud storage. We may review submitted information and documents to help maintain quality, safety, compliance, fraud prevention, and support. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it for these purposes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Who we share it with

Submission information is shared with the Canadian credit bureaus — Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada — as required to file the rent arrears on the tenant's credit report, and with service providers needed to operate StrikeLM. We do not sell personal information.

Optional advertising measurement

If you give consent, StrikeLM may use optional advertising measurement through Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, X/Twitter, and OpenAI Ads. Depending on the provider and configuration, measurement may use browser tags or pixels and server-side conversion or relay services. These tools help us understand whether our advertising and service pages lead to intake activity, checkout starts, and completed applications.

The conversion event data we configure is limited to campaign and click identifiers, a pseudonymous event identifier, event type and time, the source page without URL queries, and, when applicable, a conversion amount and currency. Browser tags may also receive ordinary technical information, such as the page URL, referrer, browser or device details, and IP address, according to each provider's policies. Our configured event payloads do not contain tenant names or contact details, rental or application details, uploaded documents, court-order contents, or chat transcripts.

This measurement is optional. The preference controls on the interactive Privacy Policy page update browser measurement on that device; declining does not affect intake, security, or payment processing. To withdraw consent for server-side measurement associated with an existing application, email support@strikelm.com. After we update that application's server-side preference, we stop future provider deliveries and cancel pending deliveries that have not been sent. Withdrawal cannot undo information already sent, which providers may retain according to their own policies.
